Who is responsible

The controller for any personal data processed through this site is the operator identified on the imprint page. Data protection enquiries can be sent through the contact page.

What we collect

We do not operate user accounts, logins, profiles, newsletters, comment threads, or an advertising network. The only place on this site that asks you to identify yourself is the business enquiry form described under Lead form below.

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, used for security and availability, and retained by the provider under its own retention policy.
• No analytics at the date of this page. The site currently loads no analytics or measurement script. If that changes we will update this page before deploying it and describe what is collected and how to opt out.
• No advertising cookies. We carry no display advertising and no retargeting pixels.
• No fingerprinting. We do not attempt to identify or track you across sessions or sites.

Cookies and local storage

The site is built as static HTML with one small script that formats dates for display. It does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may cache files for performance in the ordinary way. Third-party destinations you click through to set their own cookies under their own policies, over which we have no control.

Affiliate links and what they pass on

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination receives the referral identifier embedded in the link and, as with any web request, your IP address and user agent. That is how a commission is attributed. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details, account information or anything else about your activity on the destination — we receive aggregate commission reporting only.

Analytics, and the consent that governs it

This site runs Google Analytics 4 (property G-67MSBWRSFD) with IP anonymisation enabled, and nothing else. There is no advertising pixel, no Meta Pixel, no retargeting tag and no data broker. If that ever changes, this section changes on the same day and the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode v2. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland every storage type is denied by default, so nothing is written to your device until you accept; a cookieless ping may still record that a page was read, with no identifier attached. Elsewhere, analytics storage is granted by default and you can withdraw it at any time on your privacy choices.

What Analytics gives us: aggregate page counts, approximate country and city, device type and referrer. What it does not give us: your identity, your email, or any way to contact you. We do not maintain a mailing list and we do not build advertising audiences from this site.

Third parties

Application icons on some pages are loaded from the operators' own content delivery networks so that they stay current. Loading an image causes your browser to make a request to that provider, which sees your IP address and user agent in the ordinary way. No other third-party resource is embedded — no fonts, no tag managers, no social widgets, no embedded video.

Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for the limited processing described above is legitimate interest: operating, securing and maintaining a public information website, and attributing referrals that fund it. We do not rely on consent because we do not carry out any processing that requires it, and we do not process special categories of data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Because we hold no accounts and no identifiers linked to you, in most cases we will have no personal data of yours to produce or delete — server logs are held by our hosting provider under its own policy. Send any request through the contact page and we will respond within one month.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. The applications we review are entertainment products with in-application purchases, and several carry age-restricted content. Security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS with standard security headers. We hold no database of readers, so there is no reader database to breach. Business enquiry data submitted through our lead form is retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the commercial relationship, or until you ask us to delete it. Any other correspondence you send us is retained only for as long as needed to answer it and to keep a record of published corrections.

International transfers

The site is served from a global content delivery network, so pages may be delivered from infrastructure outside your country. The technical log data described above may therefore be processed outside the EEA or the UK under the hosting provider's own safeguards.

Lead form

The business enquiry forms on our review request and partner pages collect the following data when you submit an enquiry:

• Always collected: name, work email address and company name (required); company website and country (optional).
• Depending on your enquiry type: approximate catalogue size, supported languages, approximate budget and preferred timeline (all optional).
• Automatically recorded: the page URL from which the form was submitted, the language of the page, the time between page load and submission (used to filter automated submissions) and the site identifier.

Purpose and legal basis. We use this data to respond to your enquiry and, if we agree to work together, to deliver the service you requested. The legal basis under the GDPR is performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in operating a commercial service (Article 6(1)(f)).

Storage. Enquiry data is transmitted to our server over HTTPS and stored there. We retain it for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the commercial relationship, or until you ask us to delete it.

No marketing. We do not add your email to a mailing list, we do not send unsolicited follow-ups, and we do not share your data with any third party other than infrastructure providers needed to deliver the service.

Honeypot field. The form includes a hidden field not visible to human users; it is used solely to detect automated submissions and is never stored when left empty.

Changes to this policy
